About Me

I have worked, on and off, as a nurse practitioner for Kaiser Permanente since 1974. I joined the department of Cardiology in 1986. In 2009 I formally retired but then returned to my practice part-time in 2011. This allows me to continue a profession I enjoy and find more time to play and travel.

About my practice

I both work with a dedicated team and have the freedom to individualize care for our cardiology patients. My goal is to help patients understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. I encourage them to be an active partner in their health care at Kaiser Permanente.

How I thrive

I spend my free time traveling with my husband, urban walking, hiking in the mountains, and gardening. I also volunteer as a nurse practitioner at a local community health clinic.
