About Me

Welcome to my Web page. Thank you for your interest in learning a little bit about me. It is important that you have confidence in me as your urologist and as a person.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian. I attended UC Berkeley for my undergraduate studies, and my medical school and urology residency training were completed at Stanford University. I have been at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center since I graduated in 1983. I am board certified by the American Board of Urology and have been recertified according to their required schedule every ten years. My current certification extends thru 2024.

About my practice

I see a broad spectrum of general urological problems, including prostate issues, urinary tract infections, and blood in the urine. My area of subspecialty interest is male infertility. I diagnose and treat the problems that may be interfering with a man's ability to father a child. I perform the majority of the microsurgery for these problems in Kaiser Permanente's Southern California region. I view my medical practice as a partnership between you and me. I will do my best to explain the recommended course of action that we agree to take, and in return, I hope you will feel comfortable asking all the questions that you have and completing the agreed upon treatment regimen.

How I thrive

I have a wife and three children. I am active in the community through support of our local park and by participating in Boy Scouts of America activities, including hiking and backpacking.
