About Me

I grew up in the Columbia River Gorge area and have a deep love for the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Naturally, I was eager to return here once I completed my education for physician assistant studies at the Des Moines University in Iowa. I stay active in my community with volunteer activities, including many at my local church. I also am a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Washington Association of Physician Assistants. I hold a physician assistant license in both Oregon and Washington. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008.

About my practice

I strongly believe that every patient, every time, deserves my undivided attention. I have been a physician assistant in primary care and internal medicine for 17 years. In 2012 I transitioned to the Sleep Medicine Department within Kaiser Permanente. This is a move I continue to be very excited about. Sleep disorders are near and dear to my heart. In sleep medicine, I have the ability to impact a member's health, energy level, and outlook with simple treatments. That just makes my day!

How I thrive

I believe that life is a gift and meant to be shared. I find that for me, my volunteer work is a blessing and helps me thrive. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, studying, taking online classes, listening to music, having fun, laughing, and relaxing.
