About Me

Hello, and welcome to my web page. I'm happy to be part of the Kaiser Permanente team at the Downey Medical Center, and want to introduce myself to you and your family members.

Biography

I was born in Arizona but raised in Southern California. After high school I moved to Argentina for two years where I learned to speak Spanish fluently, then returned to the U.S. to complete college and medical school. I've been fortunate to stay local in Southern California throughout my medical training, and look forward to many more years practicing medicine here.

About my practice

My specialty is adult infectious diseases, which I really enjoy because it allows me to take care of a broad range of patients and illnesses, including HIV and PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis). I see many patients both in the hospital and in the clinic, and enjoy the variety of individuals I get to meet and care for as I strive to help them heal.

How I thrive

Keeping balance and a good sense of humor are very important to me. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, watching baseball, and spending time with my wife and kids.
