About Me

I grew up in Houston, TX and knew I wanted to be a physician when I was in high school. I was strongly influenced by my mother, who is a hospital pharmacist, and my high school biology teacher, Linda Oldham. I am married with two middle school aged children and have lived in the Northwest since 1999.

About my practice

I practice exclusively hospital medicine at St. John's Medical Center, which is one of Kaiser Permanente's affiliated care centers. I try to involve the patient and family in their evaluation, treatment plan and follow up.

How I thrive

I try to stay active by exercising most days. I enjoy spending time with my son's Boy Scout Troop, especially their campouts. I enjoy volunteering at the Cowlitz Free Clinic, which is a great community effort to provide care to those without insurance.
