About Me

It has been my privilege to work at Kaiser Permanente since completing my medical training in 1991. I am a general obstetrician/gynecologist and enjoy all aspects of my job, even delivering babies in the middle of the night while I am on call! I was very interested in embryology and genetics in high school and college, and specializing in Ob/Gyn was a natural progression of that interest.

About my practice

I practice general obstetrics and gynecology by providing prenatal care and delivery, contraceptive management, surgical treatment of gynecologic conditions and other general office gynecological care. I approach each patient as an individual, striving to treat everyone with respect and dignity.

How I thrive

I have a very supportive husband and two adult children, who have always kept me on my toes. I also have two girls - a chocolate Labrador retriever and a mutt (maybe beagle/hound mix).

My biggest passion is spending time with my family, and when my children were in school, I regularly volunteered with their school and sports programs. I am energized by doing anything outside, such as walking, hiking, skiing, yoga and gardening. We love to travel, spending time in the Montana mountains, western Canada and South America. I also enjoy needlepoint and reading, especially historical fiction.
