About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to share some information with you about myself and practice so that you can get to know me better before we meet in person. I look forward to providing medical care for you and your family members and to helping to keep everyone as healthy as possible.
Biography
I was born and raised in the southern Philippines, where I attended college and medical school, graduating with honors. My father worked as a PhD plant physiologist in eastern Virginia, so I followed my parents to the United States. I completed my surgical internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and my residency training in family medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine-Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. My best friend in college worked as a nurse in Southern California, and after visiting her and enjoying the sunshine, I moved to Los Angeles and began practicing family medicine in 2008. I joined Kaiser Permanente because I believe in its philosophy of delivering preventive care using a team approach.
About my practice
I specialize in family medicine and provide medical care including pediatrics, women’s health, preventive care, dermatology, and numerous surgical procedures. I believe that my job as a family physician is to help guide members toward healthy and fulfilling lives and, if they are ill, help guide them toward renewed health. I believe that healthier people are happier people. Happier people live longer, so I am ultimately trying to help you have a healthier, longer life.
How I thrive
Life balance is the key to living well. When I am not practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like eating healthy, exercising every day, dancing Zumba, traveling, and going to the beach.
