About Me

Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I hope this page will give you a chance to get to know me and my practice.

Biography

I was born in Toledo, Ohio, and mostly raised in both San Diego County and Orange County. Part Bruin and Trojan, I graduated from UCLA undergraduate in neurosciences and obtained my doctorate at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. I went on to train at Harbor-UCLA in orthopedic surgery and completed an additional fellowship in joint replacement surgery at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla.

About my practice

I grew up 5 minutes from my current practice and am thrilled to return to serve the community I grew up in. I am passionate about helping members that suffer in pain by using joint replacement surgery. Daily, I get to meet members from all walks of life who are in pain and witness them turn their lives around after joint replacement. I also enjoy working with a team of physicians and staff that provide honest and ethical care. I have a strong interest in rapid-recovery joint replacement and perform direct anterior hip replacement, mini-posterior hip replacement, and less-invasive total knee replacement.

How I thrive

Although I work very hard for my members, I believe in taking time to take care of myself with beach volleyball and cardiovascular exercise at least twice a week. I strive to be a good family man to my wife and 3 children and try to pack in as much fun as I can with them. I also believe in being a perpetual student and love learning about anything and everything throughout life. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me and my practice.
