About Me

Hi, welcome to my Web page. I hope this page will give you a chance to get to know me and my practice.

I was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in both San Diego and Orange County, California. I graduated from UCLA with a major in Neuroscience and attended USC for medical school. I trained at Harbor-UCLA in orthopedic surgery and did a fellowship in joint replacement surgery at the Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, CA.

About my practice

I am passionate about helping patients that suffer in pain with arthritis. It gives me great pleasure to see patients turn their lives around after joint replacement. I also believe that Kaiser Permanente gives me the opportunity to work with a highly recruited group of doctors that provide honest and ethical care. It also gives me great pride to work with such a great, diverse population of patients that we have in the very large Downey area.

How I thrive

Although I work very hard for members, I believe in taking time to take care of myself with beach volleyball and cardiovascular exercise at least once or twice a week. I also strive to be a good family man to my wife and our baby. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me and my practice and I encourage feedback on your experience getting care at Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center.
