About Me

I am a native Coloradan. I grew up in Westminster and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for my undergraduate degree and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center for medical school. I did my residency in family medicine with the Navy in Pensacola, Florida. After 10 years with the Navy, I came back to Westminster in 1997, where I've worked with Kaiser Permanente since. I live in the local area with my wife and two children.

About my practice

I am a family physician, which means I take care of people from childhood through the full spectrum of ages. I prefer to prevent disease rather than treat it after it occurs. I view my role as helping people understand what's going on with them and assisting them in making lifestyle changes to help themselves.

How I thrive

I try to stay active in my off time. I have two dogs I walk for 30 to 60 minutes most days of the week. I also enjoy playing golf with my mom, wife and daughter.
