About Me

I was a Kaiser Permanente baby, born at the Los Angeles Medical Center. My first eye exam and first pair of glasses were also prescribed at the same hospital when I was in college. It has truly been a blessing to work as a primary care optometrist at Kaiser Permanente and to give the gift of sight back to the community. I am certified to treat glaucoma and fit specialty contact lenses.

Biography

I graduated from UC Irvine with bachelor’s degrees in biological sciences and in psychology. I moved to Chicago for 4 years to attend the Illinois College of Optometry. During the fourth year of graduate school, I relocated to New York City for 6 months to receive extensive training in ocular disease management, as well as observing a variety of eye surgeries by working with different types of ophthalmologists.

About my practice

I am a personable doctor here to provide professional eye care. My patients are put at ease, particularly during their first eye exam or first visit to Kaiser Permanente for optometry. I also try to get to know members' lifestyles so that I can meet their visual needs.

How I thrive

I like to cook healthy meals and go out to eat different types of cuisines. Listening to music and going to concerts, as well as shopping and traveling, are also my favorite things to do. I enjoy walking my dog and biking for exercise.
