About Me

I grew up living all over the world including in the United States. The beauty and relaxed pace of life in the Northwest triggered my latest move to Portland. I chose primary care because I love to build relationships and especially enjoy family medicine as I get to know entire families. After my family medicine residency I completed a 1-year fellowship in women's health and obstetrics. In addition, I have extensive training and experience working with underserved and under-resourced Spanish-speaking populations, most recently at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. I speak fluent Spanish. Se habla espanol y me gusta cuidar para su familia completo.

About my practice

I chose family medicine because I like its holistic, family-oriented approach to patient care. I feel that if I can provide care for all ages and stages of life, I can build the best relationships with and provide the best treatment for my patients. I find providing care to women and children especially rewarding and include prenatal care and pediatrics in my practice.

How I thrive

I enjoy hiking, running, cooking vegetarian food, yoga and meditation, and international travel.
