About Me

I grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y., and went to college in Rhode Island, where I lived for 12 years. After a three-month stay in Atlanta, I found that I really liked the South because the people were so friendly and the weather was better than New England. I was fortunate to find a permanent position with Kaiser Permanente, and I made the move to Atlanta in September 1994. I currently work here as a full-time pediatrician. My husband (who also works for Kaiser Permanente) and I love our cat, Nicki, and our dog, Samson. We enjoy traveling, especially anywhere close to water.

About my practice

I enjoy working in pediatrics at TownPark Medical Center because of the great team of people who work with me. Taking care of members is a team effort that involves our receptionist, advice nurses, floor nurses, lab and radiology staff and the other pediatric providers.

How I thrive

No matter what profession you are in, life needs balance. There is a time to work and a time to play. When I am in the office, I focus on meeting the needs of our members and meeting the needs of the staff and ancillary personnel. When I am home, I focus on meeting the needs of my husband, our families, our pets and myself. If I feel successful in my personal life then that flows over into my work life and vice versa.Planning my time off is just as important as planning my schedule at work. I really enjoy planning our next trip, and I look forward to visiting places I have never been before. Learning about a different culture, different cuisine, the history of a country and meeting new people makes my life more interesting and gives me a great appreciation for all life has to offer.
