About me
I am a doctor of clinical psychology with a specialty in primary care. I am originally from Puerto Rico and moved to Colorado to further my professional development in primary care psychology. I am passionate about providing quality care to my patients, especially the Hispanic/Latino population. I recognize language as a foreseeable barrier to care in a primarily English-speaking health care community.
About my practice
A behavior medicine specialist (BMS) is a licensed psychologist or clinical social worker who works alongside your primary care physicians in the medical office building to support your total health. This model of care allows primary care and behavioral health providers to work hand-in-hand as a team to care for you. If you need specialty care, your behavior medicine specialist or primary care physician will discuss this with you and help you connect to the best services for you. In general, a BMS can screen for mental health and substance use problems, provide short-term appointments to reduce symptoms that may be causing you distress and improve your daily functioning. They are also an excellent resource for connecting you with appropriate services if you need more specialized services. They will help coordinate your care so your primary care team members and specialty care providers work together to provide your care. In many cases, a few appointments are all that is required. Still, if longer-term services are needed, a BMS can assist with connecting members with a specialist.
How I thrive
In my spare time, I enjoy reading fiction books and cooking. I like to try new and easy, sustainable recipes to add to my everyday hectic life. As a health care professional, I recognize the day-to-day challenges with time and that of giving your mental energy and effort in the hopes of helping others thrive.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
