Where I practice
I am a Colorado native. My wife and I raised our kids in Highlands Ranch. We have enjoyed the Colorado climate for years, love the outdoors and are avid Broncos fans. Practicing radiology in Denver has been very rewarding, working with so many great doctors in all specialties. I came to Kaiser Permanente after many years in private practice. Kaiser Permanente provides a whole new opportunity for me to work much closer with primary care physicians and specialists. I enjoy optimizing everyday tasks in our practice to make things easier for our patients and their providers.
About my practice
I chose radiology because I enjoy focusing on making the diagnosis as quickly and efficiently as possible to get the patient on the right track. My fellowship is in body/abdominal and pelvic imaging, especially CT, MRI and ultrasound exams. Practicing at Kaiser Permanente allows me to coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialists very efficiently. It allows me to focus more on patient care than business, which I appreciate. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance to me, and I balance that with providing excellent, timely service for my patients. When interacting with patients and their doctors, I strive to communicate in a simple, effective manner to ensure that I answer their questions as clearly as possible.
How I thrive
I thrive on innovation. I like coming up with new ideas at work to see how we can advance our practice every day. At home, I thrive by investing time in my family. I have 2 awesome kids (1 in college and 1 who just graduated college) and a wonderful wife. My personal interests include DIY projects at home, creating and building with my hands. I have a continual interest in advances in technology and figuring out how to make technology work for us.
