  1. Financial help refers to federal financial assistance through the Health Insurance Marketplace. If you do qualify, you'll have to apply for federal financial assistance and purchase your Kaiser Permanente health plan through the Marketplace. The amount of help will be based on the size of your family, your income and, the cost of coverage you choose as well as the cost of the second lowest priced Silver plan. Footnote 1
  2. Qualified applicants may elect to have their federal financial assistance for premium payment applied directly towards their Kaiser Permanente monthly premium or receive it as a tax credit when filing their 2025 tax return. Footnote 2
