We know quitting tobacco can be difficult to do. That's why we offer a range of proven approaches to help you.

There are many methods available — we'll help you find the one that works best for you.

Colorado Tobacco Quitline

Ready to quit tobacco, but want to do it from the comfort of home? If so, this 5-session phone service may be right for you. You'll connect with a trained counselor who will guide and support you through the quitting process. Programs also available for teens 15 and above, pregnant women, and Spanish speakers. For smokers and chewers.

This program is free of charge for Kaiser Permanente members.

Health classes

Learn a variety of techniques to help you become smoke-free. Browse our health classes directory to see what's available at your location.

Individual coaching

Individual coaching or counseling is available through our health education and behavioral health departments. Call 1-866-868-7112 (toll free) to talk with a health education tobacco cessation coach.

Pharmacy benefit

You may be eligible to receive tobacco cessation medications at your drug benefit copayment price with a prescription from your doctor.

Tar Wars

Kaiser Permanente proudly supports the Tar Wars programs. Tar Wars goes into elementary schools to talk to 5th grade classes about the truth on tobacco and tobacco advertising.
