Drug recalls

The United States Food and Drug Administration is responsible for protecting the public by assuring that medications sold in the United States are both safe and effective. Occasionally the FDA announces consumer-level recalls of medications for various reasons. Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy Operations responds to drug recall alerts initiated by the FDA and drug manufacturers by alerting our Members to recalls that may affect them. Members are alerted about recalls through the use of telephone messages and letters sent via the US Post Office. Below is a list of recently announced consumer-level drug recalls that may affect Kaiser Permanente Members.
