Kaiser Permanente women lead the way
Knowledge is power
Practicing good breast health
is part of a long, healthy life.
When it comes to breast cancer screenings, Kaiser Permanente women are leading the way in the Mid-Atlantic states.

The Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC) reported that in the region 75% of Kaiser Permanente women aged 40 through 69 got a mammogram in 2006 or 2007. That's well above the regional average of 67% and the national average of 69%. In fact, overall Kaiser Permanente was ranked the number one HMO in Maryland for six straight years, according to MHCC.*
