Chlorhexidine Mouthwash for Thrush

Chlorhexidine (Peridex) mouthwash can prevent thrush . It's used for people who take medicines that impair the body's natural defense (immune) system.

Chlorhexidine can cause staining of the teeth. It can also stain the inside of the mouth, especially the tongue.
