Where I practice
I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. I lived in Denver, New York, and Mount Shasta before I settled down in Los Angeles. During my residency and after my fellowship, my husband and I had opportunities to live in La Paz, Mexico, and Santiago, Chile. I feel very fortunate to have lived in so many different places and experienced different cultures.
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. Thank you for taking some time to learn more about my practice.
About my practice
I work in the Continuing Care Department. In our department, we have a team of dedicated physicians, professionals, RNs, social workers, and staff in home health/durable medical equipment. We collaborate together to provide care for our members in memory clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and palliative/hospice care services. We also work together with families and caregivers to help take care of members in their own environments. It's a challenging yet very rewarding practice.
How I thrive
The members who need our services often face chronic or terminal illnesses. To be with them and their families during this time, and to share their experiences, despair, courage, and hope, is a great privilege. Every day they teach me to have hope, faith, and spirituality and to appreciate the simple things in life—and by doing so, to learn to live. My hobbies are singing/music, gardening, and exercise. We have three Shelties and a cat. Spending time with them is always a great treat!
