About me

Thank you for taking the time to learn about my practice and me.

Biography

I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I’m the first in my family to graduate college. I’ve always had an interest in science and in medicine, in particular. I trained in Detroit as well as in Cincinnati, Ohio, and relocated to Orange County in 1989. I’ve been with Kaiser Permanente since then. I’m married to a physician and we have two children. My hobbies include jogging, golf, music, and travel.

About my practice

I work in the Long-Term Care Department, which primarily focuses on care of our members in our skilled nursing facilities. I’m also a hospice and palliative care physician and see members in the hospital as well as in the home setting. My general philosophy is to ease suffering as much as possible and help members function in the home setting with family and friends.

How I thrive

I strive for balance in my life. I’m committed to my work, but I also exercise regularly, enjoy a good golf match with friends, and time with my family. I’m also engaged in spiritual life and regularly attend church. I very much enjoy music and travel as well.
