Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I appreciate the chance to introduce myself, and share a bit about my practice. I am proud to practice at Kaiser Permanente because it is an organization that truly strives for excellence. It is a privilege to provide quality care for our members.
I was born right here in Riverside, and am the third generation in my family to practice medicine. My father and grandfather exposed me to medicine at an early age, and I can’t recall ever wanting to be anything other than a family doctor. I completed my undergraduate degree in biology at UC Irvine, and stayed on to earn my medical degree. I finished my family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center in 1989. I am a single parent with four children – two grown children and two young twin girls. I enjoy playing the guitar and drums, running, all winter sports – especially snow skiing, and I am just learning to play golf. Travel and spending family time are also important to me.
About my practice
I truly enjoy seeing patients. I feel I have been able to earn their trust because they can clearly see that medicine is my passion. I appreciate sharing light conversation and humor with my patients, but am also attuned to making them feel comfortable discussing serious health issues. I am here to offer patients both medical expertise and compassionate support in hard times. I am a voracious reader, and enjoy keeping up on the latest medical advances that can help my patients. Our staff shares the same philosophy. We work as a team to provide compassionate care that meets the highest standards of excellence.
How I thrive
I love to exercise, and play many sports. I also play music. What I most enjoy, however, is time with my children. I love to see new things through their eyes. When I am with my four kids, I am so proud, and I don't have a care in the world!
