Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I'm glad to introduce myself, and I look forward to partnering with you to care for your health.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I moved to Anaheim in 1983, for my professional training at UC Irvine Medical Center. Since then, I have made Southern California my home. I come from a large family. My husband and I have four grown daughters and two grandsons. Since 1988, I have worked as a nephrologist at the Kaiser Permanente Orange County Medical Center. I was chosen in 1998, to be chief of nephrology in Orange County. In 2013, I was honored to be appointed regional chief of nephrology for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. I am fortunate to be both a clinician and administrator so I can help meet our goal of delivering the best healthcare in the world.
About my practice
My practice includes caring for adults with kidney disease, patients with kidney transplants, and those who are receiving dialysis. In addition to using my medical skills and knowledge, I strongly believe that a positive, caring approach is very important to help people. I feel honored when members entrust me with their care, and treat them as if they were my family.
How I thrive
I keep balance in my life by enjoying quiet time with my family at home, exercising regularly, traveling, going to church, or just reading a good book.
