Welcome to my Web page. I’d like to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am very happy working at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and the members I have the pleasure to care for at the Fontana Medical Center Emergency Department.
I grew up in Thousand Oaks and went to college in Claremont. I initially earned my MBA at the University of Chicago and worked for Arco as an economic analyst. I also became heavily involved with the Special Olympics organization as a coach and area director. With changes in the oil industry and a desire to work by directly helping people, I went back to school to become a physician. I received my medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed my emergency medicine residency at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield. I continue to be involved with the Special Olympics and am happy to be back in Southern California to be near friends and family.
I work in the Emergency Department at both the Fontana and Ontario Medical Centers. While our main goal is to take care of your emergency care problems, I realize you might have other concerns that need to be addressed urgently. I’m here to learn about those and assist you in getting the right care to address them.
I believe in living a well-rounded life to maintain my mental and physical health. I’m blessed to be supported by good friends, a loving family, and two wonderful cats. I do step aerobics or walk three and a half miles around my neighborhood every other day. I also enjoy working in my yard—I have a garden that produces the fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs in the summer that I like to include in my cooking. It also produces flowers that beautify my yard and house.
