Where I practice
I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you to get to know me.
I did my urology residency and training at New York University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Medical Center in New York City. I was an assistant professor in urology at UC Davis and worked at the VA Medical Center in Martinez for two years. Later, I moved to Los Angeles and have been with Kaiser Permanente for more than 24 years. I am board certified in urology. I am married with two lovely children, both of whom wish to become physicians when they grow up.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me to better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health. That is the reason I advise all my members to make sure they have annual screenings for prostate cancer, frequent screenings for diabetes, cholesterol checks, and blood pressure monitoring.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in the philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit and I try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to concerts and plays, and I enjoy playing tennis and basketball with my kids.
