Welcome to my Web page. I am a family medicine physician exclusively working all aspects of urgent care medicine for the past 10 years. This is my passion.
I immigrated to this country from South Korea when I was young and grew up in Orange County. I picked up Spanish along the way. I attended local schools, went to UCLA for my bachelor's of science, and then obtained my doctor of chiropractic degree in Whittier, CA, at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (now Southern California University Health Sciences). I went to Ross Medical School and did my residency in family medicine at Loma Linda University. I started moonlighting during my residency at nearby urgent care centers and then worked full time there for several years. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I was a medical director supervising urgent care centers for a large local medical group. I have been involved with leadership positions most of my life. I do this by serving first and doing the work it takes.
The practice of urgent care is always exciting, meeting new faces and dealing with urgent matters. I love making a difference and taking care of members. My advice to members is to not let little things become big things. Don't wait to see a doctor.
I like to spend time with my family and church while off work. While at work, I find personal satisfaction by taking care of members and working towards good outcomes.
