Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I am a native Southern Californian who loves the outdoors and the variety of outdoor activities that my family and I can take advantage of here. Even when I was a young child, I knew that I wanted to be a doctor. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people’s lives, and practicing medicine gives that opportunity.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are some of the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me take better care of you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
Keeping my work and home lives in balance is important to me. I believe in the saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” I try and stay active with visits to the gym or tennis court, or a brisk walk with a friend. My children are all grown and out on their own; two are married, so now I have more time at home to fill. I enjoy playing the cello or guitar, or just sitting down to read a good book. I am also now involved with community service as a member of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Medical Reserve Corps, which is open for anyone who wants to be available to help out the community in a disaster.
