Where I practice
Welcome to Kaiser Permanente. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you. I feel fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my knowledgeable colleagues and our wonderful members, and I’m eager to partner with you to care for your health.
I started life on a family farm in the Rocky Mountains. After attending college at Utah State University, I moved to California, where I completed my medical studies in the Bay Area. During this time, I spent one year in Washington at Madigan Army Medical Center as part of my training. My residency training brought me to the Encino/Tarzana area. I come from a large family and now have one of my own. We enjoy our time at the wonderful beaches of Southern California and go camping throughout the state.
About my practice
Although I am board certified both in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, I feel strongly that healthy living and preventive care were and are the best ways to stay healthy or return to a healthy condition. At the same time, I am here to help you when you need medical or surgical assistance. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your personal health.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit, and I do my best to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy weekly family outings to the parks and the beaches. My family and I have visited many of the national parks of California and other places together as well. My wife and I also volunteer in other nations to provide humanitarian medical aid.
