Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself, and share a bit about my practice. I look forward to partnering with you to care for your health.
I was born and raised in the Philippines, and did all my schooling including medical school there. I completed a five-year residency program in general surgery at St. Luke's Medical Center in the Philippines prior to coming to the US in 1992. I began my residency in family medicine in Michigan, and then transferred to Kaiser Riverside to complete my training. I joined the Department of Family Medicine in 1996. I have been married for 25 years, and have two boys and a girl – all currently in college. I return home to the Philippines every year to visit my mother, and to join medical missions in the poor provinces of my native country.
About my practice
Preventive care is a major part of my practice. I believe preventing disease before it occurs is the way to go. I am also a firm believer in practicing standard care, and keeping up with the latest trends in medicine. I have a special interest in the diabetes management.
How I thrive
I keep myself busy traveling with my wife and kids whenever we get a chance. In my free time, I play basketball and work out. Recently, I started playing golf.
