About me

Welcome to my Web page. I hope the information presented here will help you get to know more about me and how I can work with you to care for your health.

Biography

I am a second-generation native Californian. I graduated from San Diego State University 40 years after my father did. I worked to become a doctor because it's the only thing I ever wanted to be, but I did this later in life than the average medical student. First I raised my kids, which was even harder than school. While the face of medicine seems to be changing with advances in various technologies I try to keep it as personal as possible. I believe in prevention when possible and thorough treatment when needed.

About my practice

Good member care requires a combined effort and is only possible for me because I'm fortunate to work with a wonderful team of doctors, amazing nurse practitioners, fantastic nurses, and medical assistants. We work together to provide our members with the best care possible. Successful health care only happens when the patient and the doctor work as a team for the patient's health.

How I thrive

I keep my life as balanced as I can. I love to hang out at home with my dogs and husband, hike around the East County hills and let my granddaughters take me shopping. My parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren are mostly in the area. When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my family. My favorite indulgence is traveling to Hawaii.
