Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.
I was born and raised in Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. I attended Johns Hopkins University as an undergraduate and then Penn State College of Medicine for my medical training. While in medical school, I quickly found ophthalmology to be a fascinating and wonderful field. The opportunity to heal and care for something as valuable as eyesight, using medical therapies and advanced surgeries, was very exciting to me. I moved to Cleveland for residency and then found my way west towards warmer weather for my fellowship in San Diego.
My goal is to deliver the best possible care to my members. My practice consists of primarily general comprehensive ophthalmology, such as evaluation and treatment for cataracts, and I have a particular interest in corneal diseases and their management. I enjoy working as part of a team here at Kaiser Permanente to help provide care and advice for each individual member.
I try to keep a balance between work and personal life. I am very passionate about my work and strive to deliver the best care possible. In my downtime, I enjoy playing golf and tennis, going to the movies, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
