Where I practice
Welcome to my Kaiser Permanente Web page! It’s an honor to be a long-time member of the Kaiser Permanente family. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your health care team.
After an upbringing in rural Mississippi, I attended Tulane University in New Orleans, and then headed to Baltimore for medical school. I moved to Los Angles in 1988 for my residency and have remained in California ever since. After a brief time in private practice in Pasadena, I came to work for Kaiser Permanente in Orange County in 1988. I am widowed and have three adult children and one cantankerous cat.
About my practice
My practice partners and I provide general obstetrical and gynecological care to our members. I care not only about your medical issues, but also about you as a person. I realize that the nature of our work allows me to share with you some of the most important moments of your life, and I value that.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in life is essential to good health. I love reading fiction, watching movies, and listening to all genres of music. I also enjoy walking and trying new healthy dishes. Relationships are important to me, and I love spending time with friends and family. I volunteer at my church, including going on some missionary trips to Kenya and Mexico. Because I have an interest in other cultures—I just love talking to people!
