Where I practice
Hello, and welcome! Choosing a primary care physician is an important decision. I look forward to partnering with you in your healthcare.
Growing up, typically ten chairs sat around my family's dinner table. My parents always found another chair to squeeze in if any of us brought a friend home. As a physician, I extend this inclusive spirit to all my patients and their families. A career as a family medicine physician has been a natural transition into the community, which I see as extended family.
About my practice
For some, visiting the doctor can be stressful. I strive to calm patients, and let them know I am here to listen to their concerns, fears, and hopes. Ideally, the physician-patient relationship is a partnership. When you are actively involved in your health, it helps me provide better care. I have the privilege of guiding you with medical knowledge and skills.
How I thrive
It is important to balance my bustling professional life with a full personal life. Family constantly surrounds me and energizes my core. Fitness is a priority. I enjoy running, rowing, biking, kayaking, and hiking. Mindfulness meditation, yoga, relaxation, and lots of laughter are daily habits. I love to eat, but do not care –much for cooking, so I am thankful for talented chefs that can make a plant-based diet pleasing to the palate. Life is a wondrous journey, and I strive to be always grateful.
