I speak: English
My gender: Female
Where I practice
I am a psychiatrist seeing adults and children at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills.
I grew up on the East Coast, went to college in the South, returned to New England for medical school, and then came to California in 2007 to complete my residency and fellowship training at UCLA. I love Southern California and am happy to call the Valley home. I am a parent and enjoy spending time with my family outdoors. I am an assistant clinical professor on the volunteer clinical faculty at UCLA, where I teach and supervise residents in geriatric and child psychiatry clinics.
About my practice
I am so grateful to work with our wonderful team here at Kaiser Permanente. I love working with people of all ages to improve their mental health. I have specialty experience in treating members diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorder, OCD, trauma, and behavioral approaches to help parents be more effective at the hardest (but best) job in the world.
How I thrive
Since having children, I have adapted to an “early to bed, early to rise” lifestyle. I find that getting in my exercise before I start my day helps me feel alert and keeps my energy levels at their best. I enjoy my spin bike, yoga, and TRX for these morning workouts. I have been a vegetarian for over a decade and love my Instant Pot for cooking quick family dinners. Ask me for some great recipes!
