Where I practice
Welcome! My name is Dr. Mariana Grozdeva, and I am an internal medicine physician at the Kaiser Permanente Stockdale Medical Offices. Thank you for visiting my Web page. I appreciate your interest in Kaiser Permanente and look forward to the opportunity to care for you or your loved ones.
I grew up in Bulgaria and moved to the United States with my family. Our first home here was in Los Angeles, where I worked at UCLA as a clinical research associate in hematology/oncology. After that, I did my U.S. medical residency in Connecticut. I could not wait to get back to the warm west! I always wanted to be a doctor and actually practiced pediatrics for six years in Bulgaria. My time at UCLA, however, really piqued my interest in internal medicine, so I decided to follow that field of study here.
About my practice
I am very open-minded and flexible when it comes to my practice and how I work with my staff. I believe that we are all a team working to care for our patients-and the team includes the patient. The more we communicate and work as partners, the better the outcome. I treat each patient as I would my own family.
How I thrive
I try and take time to slow down and enjoy simple things. I spend time with my family, I play the piano, and I go to the opera when I can. I love spending time in nature and find it very refreshing.
