Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you.
I've been blessed to live in areas with beautiful weather my whole life. I lived in Florida prior to settling in California. I grew up in Sarasota and then studied at the University of Miami, where I completed both my undergraduate and medical training through their six-year honors program in medicine. I decided that moving cross-county would be good for the soul, and thus trekked to USC for my residency. Therefore, I root for the Trojans, but bleed orange and green as a 'Cane. I was fortunate enough to stay at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center for my fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
I love what I do, especially the reproductive endocrine aspect of my job. This includes working with members to elucidate hormonal imbalances and figure out why they experience irregular cycles or bothersome abnormal bleeding. We are fortunate to have the Kaiser Permanente model, as it allows complete integration with our general OB/GYN colleagues and other providers, thus allowing us to best serve our members.
I met my husband in residency and try to spend as much time with him and our sons as possible. We enjoy going to the beach and museums as well as listening to music in any form and staying active. I love volunteering with the baptism ministry at our church and am planning to take up piano (again). Professionally, I feel fulfilled by mentoring those still in training.
