Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you know about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health
I have always wanted to be a doctor. I grew up with medicine all around me and learned how to manage a balanced life and a career in medicine. Both of my parents, a sister, and a brother are doctors. I enjoy volunteering for community service and have done health education and work improvement projects. I have a family of four children who are all surfers, so we like to spend time together at the beach. We have three cats who are part of the family, too. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives that opportunity.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in the philosophy of total health, and try to live it in my life every day. I am a vegetarian. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy running on the beach, bike riding with my husband, snorkeling, snow skiing, camping, and hiking. Traveling is one of my favorite activities, especially with my family.
