My gender: Female
Accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health. I am a board certified infectious disease consultant. I am also chairman of the Infection Control Committee, a member of the HIV Task Force, and champion for global immunization initiative.
I wanted to be a doctor ever since I was a young girl, partly because there were a lot of physicians among my relatives. I truly enjoy helping our members maintain their good health, as well as helping them when they are ill. I am married and have a daughter, a son, and a dog. I like reading, traveling, cooking, meditating, and helping people.
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you with your medical problems. I think we need to consider health care the first priority in our lives, since without health, we would not be able to do our work to the best of our ability or fully enjoy life. I like to educate my patients regarding both prevention and treatment of the diseases.
I believe in maintaining a healthy diet and practicing meditation. Diet plays an important role in health. I also strongly feel that meditation has many beneficial effects for the mind, including control of pain.
