Where I practice
I am delighted that this Web page gives me the opportunity to reach out to the patients and Kaiser Permanente employees I have the good fortune to work with.
I grew up in the Midwest but love to travel. I have lived at different times in Arizona, Florida, and California and have visited Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean. In Arizona we hiked in the deserts and camped in the mountains. In Florida we rode bikes on the beach and went scuba diving in the Florida Keys. In California we ski, camp, and visit the seaside.
About my practice
My clinic specializes in Worker's compensation injury care, DOT physicals, pre-employment physicals and other work related issues. Occupational and environmental medicine is an interesting, even exciting, field of medical practice. One of our chief goals is to provide prompt, sympathetic, excellent medical care to employees who have been injured on the job, and enable them quickly to recover their ability to work in their chosen occupation.
How I thrive
I enjoy physical activity and have tried a great many forms of it, even sky diving when I was younger. My favorite activities are downhill skiing, hiking, camping, and spending time with my grandchild. I thrive in mind and spirit by reflecting on the good fortune I had to be born in a country of such unlimited opportunities, the joy that comes from my family and friends, and the satisfaction I feel in my work. Working in an organization such as Kaiser Permanente allows me to practice medicine in a way that meshes perfectly with my own philosophy of prevention and proactive care.
