Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to tell you about myself and my practice. I feel very lucky to be working at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to helping you care for your health.
I am a native of Southern California. I wanted to be a doctor from the time I was 10 years old, when I read a Reader's Digest article about doctors caring for cancer patients. I wanted to be able to help people too. I am married to a college professor of English, and we have three children, two dogs, and a hamster with a bad case of wanderlust.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but as your partner in health I am also here to help you when you are sick. I really believe in the concept of family practice and am glad to care for husbands and wives, kids and grandparents, sisters and cousins.
How I thrive
I believe it's important to nurture all aspects of yourself: physical, intellectual, creative, and spiritual. Staying active in all these areas is probably the most important thing you can do to add years to your life and life to your years. Who says a middle-aged mom shouldn't be out playing paintball? I do crossword puzzles and am addicted to sudoku. I am learning Celtic quilting and am active at my church.
