Accepting new patients.
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I am honored to have the chance to introduce myself to you as a Kaiser Permanente physician, and to share my life and work philosophies with you.
I was born and raised in the island nation of Taiwan, and I moved with my family to Cerritos when I was 14. Since then I have lived in San Diego for college, Pittsburgh for medical school, City of Orange for residency, and then Mission Viejo where I worked as a primary care physician. In 2016, I completed the circle and moved back to Cerritos. I have always loved the beautiful city of Cerritos and the diverse and vibrant communities around it, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve the people of these communities for years to come.
The most enjoyable part of my job as a primary care physician is the opportunity to get to know my patients and develop long-term relationships with my patients. To me, health care is a partnership between the physician and the patient, and I believe in empowering my patients to take positive actions to improve their health. Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing my patients make positive changes in their own lives. I also believe in the importance of the mind-body connection. Therefore I always try to work with my patients to improve their emotional health as well as physical health, both of which are equally important to one's quality of life.
In my free time, I enjoy reading. I read a variety of books in different genres, but my favorites are books about psychology and mindfulness in the non-fiction category and science fiction in the fiction category. I also enjoy doing yoga and spending time with my family and friends, watching movies and exploring the many restaurants and many activities that Southern California has to offer.
