Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
A Minnesota native and survivor of many subzero winters, I moved to sunny Southern California after my residency training in Miami, Florida. I completed my fellowship in sports medicine in San Diego before beginning practice in Los Angeles. It is here that I have made a home with my wife, my two sons, and our two cats.
About my practice
My practice involves primarily sports medicine, with an emphasis on knee and shoulder surgery. Communication with my patients and their families is an important part of my practice. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I exercise on a regular basis and enjoy a yearly mountain bike trip to Moab, Utah, with friends. My family life is my top priority and I keep very involved in my children’s activities. I eat a healthy diet but, I do have a weakness for good chocolate. I spend my free time reading, walking, running, and tinkering with photography and woodworking. I love gadgets of all kinds.
