Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice.
I was born and raised in sunny Southern California. I am dedicated to our beautiful state and the people who live here. I earned my undergraduate degree at UC Irvine, and then I attended medical school at the University of Cologne in West Germany. I also attended medical school at USC, where I received my medical degree. I completed a five-year orthopedic residency at USC then did a 12-month fellowship in spinal reconstructive surgery at UCLA.
I perform surgery on the spine in the neck, upper back, and lower back for many different conditions involving the bones, discs, joints, and ligaments. I perform minimally invasive procedures, as well as extensive reconstructions of the spinal column. I hope that you do not ever need to have surgery on your spinal column, but if you do, my team will help you in a compassionate and caring way. My faith guides me as a physician and surgeon.
I enjoy the great outdoors. I camp, ski, dive, fish, boat, and surf. I try to inspire those around me to live each day to its fullest. Life is an art. Every year I go on at least one mission to a developing country to try to serve patients in these medically underprivileged areas.
