About me

Welcome! This Web page is offered as a means to provide helpful information about my role as a physician in the department of psychiatry. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

After completing my psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, I joined the Psychiatry Department at the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center.

About my practice

I am board certified in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry. My practice is focused primarily on the medical diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions of children, adolescents, and adults. I am part of a treatment team that is designed to meet all aspects of your mental health care. Your first visit in the Psychiatry Department will be with a licensed therapist who will work with you to determine the appropriate treatment plan to meet your needs. This treatment plan will include an appointment with a psychiatrist, if a further medical evaluation or medication management is needed. The psychiatrist will use the information obtained by your therapist to assist them in their medical evaluation of you. If a medication is indicated, the psychiatrist will follow up with you on your care with this medication, while your therapist will continue to work with you on your treatment plan and therapy needs.

How I thrive

I employ the same stress management and reduction techniques that we teach members within our department.
