Where I practice
I am pleased to offer this Web page as a way to provide helpful medical information, as well as an opportunity for you to learn about me. I hope that through this page I will be able to better serve you with the most current information, useful handouts and helpful Web links. I am proud to be part of Kaiser Permanente and such an outstanding department. I will do my best to always provide the highest quality care and service to you.
I was born in China. After medical school, I came to North America for additional training. I finished my postgraduate studies at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry in Canada and obtained a Ph.D. in physiology. After finishing my occupational medicine residency in Nashville, Tennessee, I became a faculty member of Meharry Medical College, where I taught and practiced occupational medicine. The warm climate and culture diversity in Southern California convinced my family and me to move from Nashville to Los Angeles.
About my practice
My occupational medicine practice allows me to help injured workers and employees recover from their work-related injuries and illnesses. I help my patients restore their functional capacity and I perform evaluations for permanent impairment as well. I communicate with their claims adjusters and/or insurance carriers to facilitate getting them appropriate treatment and compensation under Workers' Compensation. I'm honored that my patients have entrusted me with their health and recovery, and I strive to always provide them with high-quality care.
How I thrive
I enjoy hiking, traveling and breathing the ocean breeze in the South Bay area.
