Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I hope the information contained here helps you know a little more about my practice and myself.
I was born in Seoul, Korea, but came to the Chicago area when I was 9 years old. I consider Chicago my hometown, as I lived there for about 20 years before moving to Southern California more than 24 years ago to join Kaiser Permanente. I’m happily married and have three children—one is a nursing student and two others are in college.
About my practice
I enjoy my practice at Kaiser Permanente. It’s busy but fulfilling. I became a family practitioner so I could see all types of members—from young children to those all the way up in their 100s. I enjoy taking care of the medical issues that come up in members’ lives. Korean-American members who can only converse in Korean are always welcome to see me. I treat all my members with respect, honesty, and care to the best of my ability.
How I thrive
I enjoy all kinds of sports—especially running and golf. I've also started doing ballroom dancing this year—this is great for both exercise and having an enjoyable time with my wife. I keep my physical body and spirituality in tune as much as possible. I run regularly and have participated in several marathons in the past. I enjoy skiing in the winter and golf most times of the year, as we are blessed with great weather here in Southern California. I attend church regularly and am involved in men's group and small groups.
