Accepting new patients.
Welcome! I am glad to have the opportunity to share some information about myself. I believe that it’s important to be comfortable with and to trust your personal physician, so I hope that this page will help you to get to know me.
I was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California but have since moved to the San Fernando Valley. I tend to stay away from cold weather and have done all of my education and training in Los Angeles. I am a through-and-through USC alumnus (fight on!). After graduating from medical school, I did my general pediatrics internship and residency training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). During my time there, I received the Frances Nunnally Winzer Intern of the Year award and the Roberta G. Williams Outstanding Teaching award and was selected as a chief resident. I continue to teach medical students, interns, and residents as an adjunct clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at CHLA.
I am a board-certified general pediatrician and work in multiple office settings, including the outpatient, inpatient, newborn nursery, urgent care, and virtual health care arenas. I believe that the best medicine involves the personal medical care of a physician and the whole family unit. I believe that prevention is the key to a child's health and safety, including vaccines and screenings for asthma, obesity, and diabetes, and I will advocate for your child to ensure that he or she has access to the resources and team at Kaiser Permanente. I have a special interest in sports-related concussion management. I see kids for baseline sports exams and will work on getting them back to the playing field safely after a head injury.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing volleyball, traveling, and rooting for LA sports teams, especially the Trojans and the Dodgers!
