Where I practice
Hello! Most of my members are referred to me for problems with urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente because I can offer members high-quality care and treatment for their urogynecologic and gynecologic conditions. I am board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as subspecialty board-certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
I grew up in San Francisco and then moved to New York as a teen. I was glad to return to California about 30 years ago, I’ve been here ever since and have even raised two children here. When not working, I mainly enjoy time with my family and friends. I’ve been in practice for more than 20 awesome years!
About my practice
I work primarily as a urogynecology consultant within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have the privilege of caring for members with pelvic organ prolapse and/or incontinence, as well as other pelvic floor disorders. I specialize in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, painful bladder syndromes, bowel incontinence, and minimalistic and laparoscopic surgery for pelvic prolapse. After a careful review of your symptoms, and your examination, we’ll sit down and discuss all your treatment options. Please feel free to bring a family member with you to discuss possible surgical and non-surgical plans. I’m here to help you in every way possible so that your symptoms do not interfere with the quality of your life. Life is too short to be bothered by symptoms that are treatable!
How I thrive
First and foremost, I try to lead a healthy lifestyle with my deep personal faith. I’m grateful for every minute on this planet, and do not take health and life for granted. Therefore, I take walks on the beach, take time to admire sunsets, and tell my children that I love them every time I speak with them. I cook lavish (and healthy) Mediterranean dinners for my husband and family, invite friends over to share in the laughs, and grow lovely herbs in my garden. I also pray often, travel to new places, and take lots of photographs. I enjoy red wine tasting, going to the opera, and dancing with my unusually funny and affectionate husband.
