About me
Hello. Welcome to my Web page. This is very exciting for me, and I am proud to be able to provide information here about myself, how I practice medicine, and how we can work as a team to provide better health care for you and your family. As we work together and learn together, your general health will be improved.
Biography
I was born in Dayton, Ohio, and moved with my family to Detroit . I have an older brother. Our mother, who was divorced and then widowed in the early 1960s, raised us all by herself. My mother is a strong person, and I learned my work ethic and how to overcome problems from her. I wanted to be a doctor since I was about 10 years old and watched doctor shows on TV. I wanted to have a part in caring for people. I love the many things that are done in medicine. My second love is history. I love medieval and ancient history, reading about people and events that shaped the world. I also like traveling, collecting things, and exercising. I have a wife and three kids.
About my practice
My colleagues and I in the Physical Medicine Department work closely as a team. We are a large department. My philosophy is to keep attention focused on our patients. I encourage my partners and staff of administrators, therapists, aides, receptionists, and assistants to be polite, professional, and courteous and to work towards making our patients’ experience with us as pleasant and helpful as possible. We are all health care providers of one form or another, and we all know what it’s like to be a patient ourselves.
How I thrive
How I thrive in life is very simple. And it does not matter how old you are, what your condition is, or how wealthy or educated you are. Taking care of yourself and having a positive attitude about life is very important. We must take care of our body, mind, and spirit. Proper nutrition, proper care, regular aerobic exercise, fun and stimulating activities with significant others, and a willingness to help others in need are very important to achieve these goals. If we do these things, we will certainly improve our well-being. I also love to be outdoors, travelling and gardening.
