Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente with wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran, and I moved to at the United States in 1974. I did my internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and my residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. I have had the privilege of practicing at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center since 1979. I am married and have two grown-up sons.
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. It is a privilege to help patients translate their concerns about complex medical situations and help make sure they get the appropriate evaluations. Communication is a big part of my practice. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
I enjoy long walks, classical music, and reading.
